The King of Glory

In the beginning (before time began) God created the heavens and the earth.  ... Genesis 1:1

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. ... Genesis 1:31a

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. ... Isaiah 40:26

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.   Psalm 19:1-2

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn (the most important) over all creation. For by him (Lord Jesus, the Word) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. ... Colossians 1:15-17

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. ... Revelation 4:11

Who among the gods is like you, O LORD ? Who is like you—majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?”(glory is the physical representation of the character and presence of God—it’s all that he is; our minds cannot fathom the fullness of God’s Glory)  ...  Exodus 15:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.   1 Chronicles 29:11-12

In the past, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at may times and in various ways, but in these last days (now) he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins (died and rose again for our justification), he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven (God) .   Hebrews 1:1-3

Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty—he is the King of glory. Psalm 24:9-10
